We’re especially proud that Fast Company spotlighted all that we’re doing to give consumers power to protect their data via Permission Slip,
In October 2023, we announced the launch of CR’s Permission Slip, an app to help consumers take back control of the personal information companies have. Since then, we have grown to support hundreds of thousands of users and sent nearly 2M data requests to companies on their behalf.
Despite major advances in technology in recent years, privacy, security, and safety standards haven’t always kept up. The Fast Company’s award recognizes CR’s innovation and efforts to ensure that consumer rights and safety don’t fall behind as technology lurches forward.
